Published on 14 August 2020
Hey guys! I hope you are doing great and staying healthy.
Since I turned into a vegan, I have heard many statements about veganism and plant-based diet…some of them were myths and some of them were facts. In today’s video, I have gathered these statements and I will be classifying them as facts or myths.
Additionally, I will also be providing an explanation (with the help of case studies) as to why these are myths/misconceptions or facts about veganism.
Statements I will be talking about:
1. Vegans lack essential nutrients and they heavily depend on external supplements.
2. Vegans cannot lift and excel in sports.
3. Vegans have a higher level of testosterone.
4. A vegan diet reduces the intake of harmful animal hormones and reduces the chances of getting high blood pressure and high cholesterol level.
5. Turning into a vegan is like becoming a monk.
6. A person can reduce their carbon footprint by turning into a vegan.
7. Vegans require more amount of water.
Watch the video to find out which of these are myths or facts.
