RECIPE REVIEW: VEGAN MAC & CHEESE (DARIUS COOKS)

I got a new cook book and couldn't wait to try out this vegan mac and cheese recipe. Most videos I’ve seen use Daiya. If you detest that cheese as much as I do, then this is the recipe for you. Team Follow Your Heart!
Shopping List:
6 cups macaroni noodles
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (Sprouts store brand)
2 cups vegan half/half (Ripple)
4 tbsp flour
1/2 cup vegan butter (Melt)
****plus approx 1 tbsp for noodles***
1 cup sour cream (Tofutti)
1/2 cup cream cheese (Tofutti)
4 cups vegan cheddar (Follow Your Heart & So Delicious)
***plus approx 1 cup for topping***
2 slices vegan smoked gouda (Follow Your Heart)
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp pink Himalayan salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic salt (for noodles)
