In this episode we talk with Irina Gerry, CMO of Change Foods about how food tech is driving the revolution towards a sustainable future. Change Foods are an early stage food tech company using precision fermentation to produce bio identical compounds to dairy. Alternative cheese is what they have eyes on for their first product. They did a great job to move to hire the very the articulate Irina away from Danone. I also take the opportunity to talk Irina about an area she is passionate about, longevity diets and blue zones. She mentioned that people who live to 100 are generally eating fruit and vegetables all the time, are very active, connected to their community, have a sense of purpose with a zest of life. So, it's no secret that she recommends a whole food plant based diet.
