Justice for Regan Russell | Niagara Rally
Which side of history are you on?
Animal rights activists held a peaceful rally on Aug 23 in Niagara-On-The-Lake to honour fallen activist #ReganRussell.
It was a special rally organized by At War for Animals Niagara in response to some of the horse-carriages supporting locals of the town who drove all the way to Burlington to mock Regan’s death outside of Fearmans slaughterhouse right where she was killed.
Activists were met with aggression, insults, and straight-up disrespect for Regan from these very same people. These so-called ‘counter-protestors’ even hurled insults at a grieving husband and stepson while they were honouring their departed wife and stepmom.
The activists remained peaceful & non-violent in the face of aggression and violence, and focused on honouring animal and human rights pioneer Regan Russell.
