Cruel Training of Billy the Elephant at the Los Angeles Zoo
This video was supplied to LCA from an anonymous supporter. The video shows the cruel and demeaning methods used to train Billy in 1989, when he first arrived at the Los Angeles Zoo.
Billy was born wild in Malaysia in 1985. He was ripped from the wild when he was four-years-old.
He is still at the L.A. Zoo, as of 4/25/2025.
