The sound of a gun going off is so gut-wrenching 😔 An activist witnessed cows shot in the head after the transport truck they were on overturned in Detroit. She describes hearing them bellow in pain and fear before the shots.
Transport truck crashes are frequent and often fatal. When female cows used for dairy become infertile or their milk production declines, they’re sent to slaughter. These cows wouldn’t have been on that truck to begin with if humans didn’t consume their milk.
