Crispy Tofu

1 block tofu (drained,pressed and chopped)

1/4 cup coconut aminos

1 tbs rice vinegar

1-2 tsp hot sauce

1 tbs cornstarch

1 tsp smoked paprika

INSTRUCTIONS:

Whisk together coconut aminos, rice vinegar, and hot sauce. Place chopped tofu in a plastic bag and pour the marinade in as well. Shake it up and let marinate in the fridge for at least 30 min or up to 8 hours! (The longer it marinates, the better the flavor) However, if you’re in a rush, you can just toss the tofu in the marinade and go from there.

In a large bowl, combine the cornstarch and smoked paprika. Feel free to add more spices if you wish! If you chose to marinate the tofu, take out of the fridge and toss in the cornstarch mixture.

AIR FRYER:

Place in the air fryer basket add a little extra cornstarch, shake and bake for 10-15 min on 400! Halfway through cooking time, shake the basket. The tofu is done when golden and crispy!

OVEN:

preheat the oven to 425. Place tofu on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-30 min. Shake halfway through cook time. The tofu is done when golden and crispy!

Enjoy!!! Eat them plain as is, dip in coconut aminos, serve on a salad or buddha bowl, add to ramen or stir fry... the options are endless!
